The Mere Golf Resort and Spa is a 75 year old golf resort that has recently begun a £15million redevelopment. In January 2011 it launched a five star health club and spa using the existing listed stables building in the grounds, and will launch refurbished event spaces in April 2011.
What’s it got?
George Duncan Suite is undergoing a refurbishment and features a stage. It can seat 120 guests with a dance floor, or 200 theatre style.
The other event space is the James Braid Suites which can seat 520 with a stage and dance floor, or 800 guests for a reception.
