My career mentor is Kerris Bright, who is now the chief marketing officer at AkzoNobel Paints.
We worked together at Unilever from 1998 to 2002. Kerris was UK general manager for the Unipath Business. She recruited me as UK marketing manager.
I'll always be grateful to Kerris for believing in me and providing opportunities for progression. The biggest lesson I learned from her is that combining intellectual rigour with creative delivery is an unbeatable combination.
