MediaCom Scotland wins £3m contracts

MediaCom Scotland has picked up a raft of new business totalling about £3m.

The agency won the £1.6m media planning and buying account for Brown & Jackson's What Everyone Wants clothing company, following a competitive pitch involving MindShare and incumbent Ernie Nicolls.

MediaCom has also retained the Scotmid convenience store and Semi-Chem retail businesses, worth a combined total of almost £1m.

Meanwhile, the Edinburgh agency has also been chosen to handle the media arrangements for another, undisclosed, client, worth £600,000.

The agency has promoted planning manager Euan Ross to the position of associate director of planning.

MediaCom Scotland managing director Euan Jarvie said: "These developments reflect the growth of the agency and its new business which is becoming stronger year on year.

"We're attracting clients that are significant, not just in Scotland but nationwide, such as What Everyone Wants."
