ETTG will consult Peel Media on the use of public spaces within MediaCityUK as the £500m project nears completion.

The 36-acre development in Manchester’s Salford Quays is already becoming a media hub and will be the new home for the BBC in the north.

When complete it will contain the largest TV studios in Europe, independent production houses, a new campus for Salford University, apartments and a hotel.

The Live Strategy Service will show developers how they can maximise the ‘live’ potential to bring these public spaces to life, driving trade, footfall, dwell time and return custom and maximising engagement.

"MediaCityUK is the most dynamic regeneration development in the UK with the eyes of the wider world squarely on it. We are currently working on an audit that when delivered will assure that MediaCityUK’s public spaces will be realised for their full potential and match the world-class status of the overall project," said Ear to the Ground operations director David Norris.
