Zurich Financial Services is capitalising on the current enthusiasm for rugby union by linking up with Sky Sports to sponsor its broadcast coverage of the Heineken Cup, in a deal worth £500,000.
Sky Sports will show up to 40 live games, including a minimum of five live games from every round of the tournament for Europe's top clubs.
As part of the deal, Zurich has credits around all coverage and will feature on all trailers for it. There will also be a three-hour highlights show, European Rugby Special, plus live coverage of the semi-finals and final of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup, the second-tier European competition.
