Media: Setanta plans e-newsletter

Sports broadcaster Setanta is to launch a digital newsletter in a bid to attract subscribers.

The newsletter, which will be sent initially to 500,000 people in the UK, will feature video footage, previews of sports events and interviews.

It will be distributed to subscribers as well as anyone who has registered an interest in Setanta by entering competitions or via its website.

Advertising space has been allocated to existing partners, such as Kitbag, but Setanta plans to sign up other brands.
