Mendoza, who was appointed managing director of MPG in 1997, aims to bolster the agency's profile and grow its business after it suffered an estimated 14.7% drop in billings, according to the annual group agency survey published today.
According to Mendoza: "I am looking forward to developing the MPG UK business over the next few years. We have an incredible talented group of people here, although I think we're probably perceived as the media agency equivalent of a well-kept secret. We aim to change this."
Offen was appointed to the role of head of global operations in January last year as part of MPG parent Havas's strategy to boost the agency's global presence. Offen also leads MPG's global marketing and communications team.
MPG UK employs 94 people working across clients such as Camelot and Orange.
