Media News: Great Ormond St refreshes mag

Children's charity Great Ormond Street Hospital is aiming to boost donations with the relaunch of its free magazine Lifeline.

The charity has hired River Publishing to redesign the title, which is sent to 140,000 supporters three times a year. It was previously published by PSP Communications.

Lifeline promotes the work of the charity through case studies of patients and interviews with the hospital's doctors and nurses. It also carries news of medical advances and explains how donations are helping the hospital.

Donna Murphy, the charity's executive director of fundraising, said the revamped title, beginning with the August issue, was intended to give supporters 'a quality product while keeping print and production costs down'.

River Publishing also produces Weight Watchers Magazine and The Sunday Times Travel supplement.
