The magazine has been redesigned to appeal to 50-somethings. Although it broadly targets over-50s already, most of its readers are over 60.
Yours, the fourth-biggest-selling women's glossy in the UK, saw sales of 403,696 between July and December 2003, a 6% year-on-year rise. The repositioning is aimed at overtaking third-placed Good Housekeeping, which it lags by 13,000 copies.
Previous marketing efforts have focused on the daytime schedules of Channel 4 and Five. The new campaign, by Hooper Galton, will run in the ITV evening news slot between 6pm and 7pm, which Emap believes will deliver a wider audience.
