Andy Hawkins, the former executive sales director at Granada Sky
Broadcasting, has resurfaced as a media consultant with agency Frontline
Media.
Hawkins’ new venture - Frontline Communications - aims to provide a
business consultancy service to media owners and clients.
He is working on a number of projects for Frontline Media’s clients,
which include the BBC, London News Radio and three other media
clients.
Hawkins is also advising third-party companies in the TV, radio and
outdoor sectors.
Meanwhile, it is understood that Hawkins has resumed discussions with
CLT about buying Atlantic 252. Talks were thought to have stalled
because of the estimated pounds 30m price tag.
Hawkins, a former commercial director of Atlantic before joining
Granada, had been working on a buyout plan with a consortium called
European Radio Ventures.
