Media: Chrysalis Radio Group to bid for new FM radio licence

Chrysalis Radio Group is to bid for the new North-East FM radio licence with its adult rock brand The Arrow. Russell Borthwick, the former regional marketing and business development director at Trinity Mirror, has been appointed as the chairman of the bid. Chrysalis will go up against rivals including GCap, which intends to tender with its Xfm alternative rock brand.
