MEDIA BRIEFS: The PPA finds tabloid magazines may be threatened

The Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) has found that up to 300 weekly A3 tabloid magazines would be threatened if Royal Mail presses ahead with its proposal to bring in size-based pricing. The PPA has written to Consignia chairman Allan Leighton to point out that Royal Mail would lose revenue of around £85m if the plans are implemented.
