The Observer is to sponsor an exhibition of Lee Miller photography at the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester. The exhibition, entitled 'Real/Surreal' runs from January 24 to April 27, and features portraits of close friends Pablo Picasso, Man Ray and Max Ernst as well as images of Dachau when she was a US war correspondent.
