Future Publishing's Metal Hammer magazine and Carlton Books have struck a deal to release a hard-back reference guide to all things metal. The Book of Metal is written by Metal Hammer editor Chris Ingham and will feature acts including metal initiators Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin as well as modern innovators such as Papa Roach and Marilyn Manson. It will be available in bookshops from September 1.
