OK! magazine has promoted deputy editor Lisa Palta to editor. She replaces Nic McCarthy, who is moving to New York as executive editor of celebrity magazine US Weekly. Palta joined OK! in 1999 as features editor. She has been deputy editor for two years and covered for McCarthy during her maternity leave last year.
