GWR executive chairman Ralph Bernard has welcomed Ofcom's announcement of six new FM radio licences in Manchester, Edinburgh, Belfast, Blackburn, Kidderminster and Ashford. Bernard signalled GWR's intention to bid for some of the licences, the first to be advertised by Ofcom.
