Archant, the local newspaper group, has reported profits up 13.9% to 拢27.8m and turnover up 8% to 拢158m on the back of strong performance in its magazines operation. Archant has announced an extension of its County Life portfolio with the launch of Lake District Life. It is also launching a fourth title in its Lets Talk! series aimed at the over-50s, with an edition tailored to the Anglia West region.
