Media ABCs: IPC £6m launch hits Bauer title

IPC's Pick Me Up, the women's weekly focused on real-life stories, which went on sale at the start of the year, has recorded its first ABC figure, with a circulation of 503,950.

The 拢6m launch appears to have hit sales of Bauer's That's Life, which dipped by 0.8%, as well as IPC's Woman's Own and Woman. The latter lost more than 9% in sales to average 485,463.

Bauer's Take a Break fell 0.7%, but maintained its sales lead over IPC's Chat.

Full House, the new weekly published by Burda, failed to report an ABC.

The publisher has claimed a circulation of 269,575, but it is believed the figure is below 200,000.
