Jenkin will be responsible for delivering integrated communications to global consumers across all media channels for clients such as Paramount Pictures.

He will work alongside eight other activation directors at Global Solutions, MEC's team of international media specialists. He will be the first activation director to work across all media and he will report to the Global Solutions unit's head of activation, Matt Adams.

Jenkin worked at digital marketing specialist TradeDoubler for two years and was responsible for planning and buying digital media across 18 European markets.

Earlier this month Mediaedge:cia restructured its global management team. EMEA chief executive Mel Varley took the role of global chief strategy officer, Caroline Foster Kenny became global chief client officer and Alastair Aird added the role of EMEA chairman to his global chief operating officer responsibilities.
