Mean Fiddler picks stately concert sites

The Mean Fiddler Group has chosen two London stately homes to stage this year’s Jazz Café Picnics.

The Mean Fiddler Group has chosen two London stately homes to stage this year’s Jazz Café Picnics. Kenwood House in Hampstead and Marble Hill near Richmond will host the concerts for capacity crowds of 8,000 guests on 10 July and 14 August. Performances at Kenwood House will include electronic jazz from Lemon Jelly and samba, salsa and soul band Elements of Life. Marble Hill will host funk band Acoustic Ladyland and ambient act Morcheeba.
