
The company declined to give a reason for Craft leaving but said the situation remained "business as usual" at Discovery and that, for the time being, the day-to-day running of the data business would be handled by Matt Atkinson, chief executive of EHS Brann Group, which also includes DM and digital agencies.
"David has made a vast contribution to Discovery's growth over the years and we wish him all the best for the future," Atkinson said in a statement. "David leaves behind a team of highly talented individuals who will miss him greatly."
Craft, who joined the company in 2001 and became MD in January 2006, follows former EHS Brann Discovery chairman Huw Davis out the door.
