- After only four months away Peter McHugh, the managing director and executive creative director at Hal Riney and Partners/Heartland, is returning to Fallon McElligott.

He returns to the US-based agency, which recently opened up shop in London, to take up the new role of group creative director at its Minneapolis headquarters.

McHugh left Fallon in February after a three year stay. During his previous stint at the agency he had been a creative group head on the agency's Lee Jeans and Jim Bean business.

In his new role he will work on a variety of business. McHugh cited Fallon's blue chip client list and its unique corporate culture as reasons for his return.

"There was a lot I missed about Fallon McElligott: my friends, my clients, the absolutely unique environment," he said.

Prior to join Fallon in 1995 McHugh had been at Chiat/Day Toronto where he was executive creative director.
