McDonald's "Shops" by Leo Burnett London

Have we reached peak flat white?

McDonald’s is betting on consumers yearning for the simpler days of coffee in a campaign for its McCafé range. The brand mocks hipster coffee culture, with its extravagant menus, complicated preparations and high price tags. The ad, by Leo Burnett London, depicts befuddled café-goers and assures them that McDonald’s is the place for a no-frills cup of coffee. It was created by Matt Lee and Pete Hayes, and directed by Tony Barry through Knucklehead.
