McCann hires Ross Neil to help run creative department

Neil will work alongside chief creative officers Rob Doubal and Laurence Thomson to help run McCann’s creative department.

He was previously the joint executive director at WCRS, where he spent 11 years. He left in February while Leon Jaume and Billy Faithfull remain the joint executive creative directors at the agency.

Neil and Faithfull had been creative partners since 2001, beginning their advertising careers at Mother before joining HHCL & Partners and then WCRS. They were promoted to executive creative directors in 2014.

McCann has also hired creative duo Ran Stallard and Jenna Morrissey from Ogilvy and Jessica Hayes as head of talent. Lisa Carrana has been promoted to deputy head of art.

Thomson said: "Have you met Ross Neil? He is most wonderful and excellent, and we look forward to him having a huge impact on our work and culture. We’re super lucky yet again to have more world class talent join the team."
