The agency will take responsibility for the creative and media work, with sister agency MRM Gould handling internet marketing for Avaya. The account was formerly with Foote Cone & Belding's San Francisco office, which along with McCann-Erickson is part of the Interpublic Group of Companies.
There was a competitive pitch for the work, which included Arnold Worldwide and Bates Technology Group.

Avaya provides companies with communications networks including telephony systems and communications software and services. It is based in New Jersey.
