Mars Confectionery eschews sunshine and beaches in favour of an
exotic jungle in its new pounds 3m TV and cinema campaign, unveiled this
week.
The ads show a young woman relaxing on the grass in the sunshine and
opening the wrapper on a Bounty bar. Seeing a ladybird on a blade of
grass triggers a leap of imagination which takes her to a lush
jungle.
The campaign will run for four weeks with a media schedule designed to
be seen ten times by 90% of the population. Bounty is the UK’s fifth
biggest selling single countline.
