As we reported recently, several dozen owners responded to Jeff
Stark Film’s Capital Radio plea for a dog able to mount someone’s leg on
demand.
ln a studio resembling Crufts, canine contenders were screen-tested for
the exacting role which the public can now enjoy in The Edge’s launch
campaign for Computeractive magazine.
Apparently, the winning mongrel, who makes an exceptional screen debut,
has been specially trained by its owner to ... er ... perform as soon as
it hears the word ’earwig’ (it’s a strange world).
It has also emerged that the rampant canine is female and goes by the
name of Sophie. As Jeff Stark will testify, life in commercials
production is worse than a dog’s life, it’s a bitch.
