Marketing chief Pullan given additional role at Five

LONDON - David Pullan, director of marketing at Five, has been given the additional responsibility for driving the channel’s strategic development.

Pullan has been given the job title director of strategy and marketing and will now look at ways to drive the channel's growth.

"This is very much a collaborative role where I'll be working with colleagues right across the channel looking at how we take the business forward.

"On the immediate agenda we will be investigating opportunities to grow secondary revenue streams outside our core advertising sales and how, as we move firmly into the broadcasting mainstream, we maintain our unique personality as a channel," explained Pullan.

Pullan joined Five in January 2002 from MTV where he was vice president, marketing and digital channels for MTV Networks, UK and Ireland. He has also worked at BMG Entertainment and the management consultants McKinsey.
