Nicholls joins the team alongside junior project manager Emma Bradbury, who arrives from Compass Group. MCM Creative has announced the appointments ahead of its relocation from Hammersmith to bigger premises in Kew – a move that forms part of the agency’s growth plans.
Nicholls has held the position of creative director at both GPJ and Brandfuel, ending his stint at the latter in February this year. He will be responsible for developing MCM’s creative solutions, planning and processes, and will also take a seat at the company’s senior leadership table.
He has previous experience in live events, experiential, film and digital and has worked with clients such as Google, IBM and Uefa in his previous roles. Prior to joining GPJ in 2008, Nicholls worked client-side at Mascolo group, which owns brands such as Toni & Guy and Tigi.
Nicky Milligan, managing director at MCM Creative, said: "This is a truly exciting time for the agency and we are so pleased to be welcoming both Mark and Emma to the MCM team. Mark’s background is a perfect fit for us, and having someone of his seniority joining as we push ahead with our next stage of growth will be vital to our continued success.
"Emma brings with her invaluable venue experience, and it’s incredibly inspiring for us to have someone who has been a client choosing to join the team. They both bring with them exceptional strengths and individual experiences that will be incredibly valuable to us and our clients."
