Marie Curie calls £1m media pitch

Marie Curie Cancer Care has put its £1m media planning and buying account to pitch following the completion of a review of its advertising business.

The charity's media is currently handled by Frontline Media, which has been invited to repitch. The review is being managed by the AAR on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care's head of marketing, Chris Dainty.

In March, Marie Curie hired DLKW to create a campaign to differentiate it from other cancer charities such as Macmillan Nurses and Cancer Research UK. The business was previously handled by Maher Bird Associates.

Marie Curie Cancer Care provides terminal patients with nursing help.
