The agency will create a new set of ads featuring celebrity ‘fans' who have stayed at the hotel, in a play on the brands fan-shaped logo. Previous executions have included Helen Mirren, Dennis Hopper and cyclist Lance Armstrong.

Mandarin Oriental is planning to open at least 18 new hotels this year, and each will require launch advertising in local markets. London will also be responsible for delivering integrated campaigns across online and direct mail.

London Advertising was recently set up by two former M&C Saatchi international executives, Michael Moszynski and Alan Jarvie.
