The Magners Orchard pop-up will feature the Magners Orchard Bar, where samples of the brand’s new flavour offerings, along with a range of other cider and beverage options, will be available.
There will also be prize giveaways consisting of Magners products as well as tickets to events at the festival’s Big Top and Apple Top areas.
Magners Orchard will house a comedy and cabaret stage, with free mini-gigs by the festival’s top comedians planned throughout the five days. The stage will host the Magners New Comedy Act 2015, where up-and-coming comedians will battle it out for the top title.
The branded space will come complete with its own kitchen, which will serve dishes including chorizo, butterbean and red wine estofado, jerk chicken and creole-spiced jambalaya. Street food vendors will also have a presence – attendees can expect duck burgers, miso-coated crispy pork on demi-brioche buns and Yakatori.
Magners Orchard, which is free to enter, will be open from 6pm tomorrow (16 September) until Friday (18 September) and from 1pm over the weekend (19-20 September).
The Greenwich Comedy Festival is taking place at the National Maritime Museum, with comedians including Reginald D Hunter, Henning When, David O’Doherty and Omid Djalili all set to perform.
Andy Cross, brand director at Magners, said: "Greenwich Comedy Festival boasts a must-see line-up of heavyweight comedians and combined with a truly spectacular setting, it really is an amazing day out.
"I think most people will agree that there’s nothing better than sitting back on a summer’s day with a Magners cider and enjoying a laugh with friends and, this year, we’ve made sure even more people can get involved with the extended and free to enter Magners Orchard."
Cass Briggs, producer of Greenwich Comedy Festival added: "We can’t wait to be back at the National Maritime Museum. Last year’s festival set the bar pretty high but we’ve still managed to add even more comedy this year, plus the fantastic Magners Orchard, so are quietly confident that this year’s edition will be even bigger and better than before."
