M&S supports clothing range with Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button

LONDON - Marks and Spencer has launched a new press campaign fronted by British Formula 1 duo Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button to capitalise on their fame and British heritage.

M&S has teamed up with the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 team for the ads which are running across the national press and promoting M&S's 'Living The Dream' clothing collection.

The first collection was launched with Lewis Hamilton and ex-McLaren driver Heikki Kovalainen in September last year.

The new press ads shows Hamilton and Button, kitted out in racing gear, surrounded by children wearing the M&S clothing range.

To promote the range the retailer is also offering customers the chance to win tickets to the 2010 Santander British Grand Prix and other motorsport prizes through the website .

The website also contains bios of each of the drivers as well as F1 Grand Prix reports.

Earlier this year Santander revealed that later this year it will run a UK TV campaign using both Hamilton and Button to capitalise on the duo's appeal.

Hilton is also preparing to invest heavily in UK activity promoting its affiliation with the McLaren team.
