The ad was released late yesterday. It features the image of a wrecking ball and the text, "A recovering economy. Don’t let Labour wreck it".
Senior M&C Saatchi executives such as Jeremy Sinclair have worked with the Conservative Party since the 1979 "Labour isn’t working" poster when they were at Saatchi & Saatchi.
Ahead of the last election, the Conservatives gave their General Election account to Euro RSCG London, now Havas Worldwide London, only to turn to M&C Saatchi later in the process.
Grant Shapps, the Conservative Party chairman, said: "Conservatives came into office with a simple mission – to rescue Britain’s economy and build a better future, by cutting the deficit, backing businesses, and creating jobs. That plan is working. We are on the way to full employment, a job for everyone who wants one. But the recovery is fragile. It could be crushed by Labour’s wrecking ball. Ed Miliband is hellbent on spending, borrowing and taxing more, meaning chaos for hardworking families."
