Lynx illustrates dangers of not using anti-perspirant

LONDON - A man's excessive sweating, which showers innocent bystanders in several embarrassing settings, is cured by Lynx Dry anti-perspirant in the brand's latest television advertising campaign.

Created by Lowe Argentina, the ad builds on Lynx's campaign to prevent women having to endure the horrors of sweaty men.

The spot opens with a couple reminiscing about the early stages of their relationship, which were traumatic because of the man's unfortunate problem.

It continues by charting the man's plentiful sweating in several different settings, such as on the beach, in clubs, playing sport and with friends. Wherever he goes, innocent bystanders are showered in sweat.

Lynx Dry then comes to the rescue to save the sweaty man's dignity and his seemingly doomed romance. While hailing a cab, a Lynx sales girl rushes over to the protagonist and sprays his pits with Lynx Dry, immediately stopping the stream of sweat. Lynx's message is "girls prefer dry guys".

The spot ends with the strapline "Lynx Dry, it's more than a deodorant, it's an anti-perspirant."
