Luxury Publishing hires sales directors

Luxury Publishing, which specialises in upmarket magazines for clients such as Harrods and Annabel's, has hired Andrew Farthing, a former ad director of Management Today, as international sales director.

The appointment of Farthing, who has also held sales positions at Express Newspapers and Corbis picture library, to the newly-created role is part of a wider plan to identify overseas markets for Luxury to move into.
The publisher has also hired Robert Grainger as sales director, replacing Craig Owens, who has left to set up his own venture.
Grainger was previously Managing Director of Addingup Media and has also worked closely on the launch of magazines for Conran, Diageo, Barclays Bank, Laing Homes, Really Useful Group and BAA.
Luxury was set up in 2004 by founder and CEO James Reatchlous to produce the upmarket lifestyle magazine Quintessentially.
Recently it was awarded the publishing contracts for several new titles, including a magazine for a bespoke architectural and design firm and a new polo lifestyle title.
