The commercial tie-up comes as the BABA bids to galvanise interest and support in amateur boxing, after it performed strongly at this year's European Championships.
As part of the three-year deal, Lucozade will work with GB Boxing’s nutritionist, Mark Ellison, to integrate its range of sport nutrition products into a performance programme.
As an official partner to BABA, Lucozade Sport will support the men’s and women’s Podium Squads and will have a presence at its training facility in Sheffield, as well as in the BABA’s calendar of events.
It will also support a series of initiatives run by the home nations in England, Scotland and Wales.
Stewart Crooks, Lucozade Sport sponsorship manager commented: "Boxing is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK and our range of sports nutrition products fit the sport’s performance needs perfectly."
Derek Mapp, BABA chairman, said: "Lucozade Sport’s decision to invest in a relationship with amateur boxing reflects the sport's position as one of GB’s best medal hopes for 2012."
The deal with Lucozade is only the second commercial deal undertaken by the BABA. Adidas is a kit sponsor.
