Essenden, which runs 38 Tenpin sites in the UK, has appointed a new management team, which, led by chief executive Nick Basing, aims to transform the group's leisure entertainment attractions.
Lucky Voice, a company co-founded by MD Nick Thistleton and Lastminute.com's Martha Lane Fox, will trial its karaoke product in four locations.
The karaoke rooms can be hired for up to 15 people and will complement Lucky Voice's venues in Soho, Islington, Brighton, Manchester and Cardiff.
"Our teams have been working well together and we all think this could be a big idea," said Basing.
"Lucky Voice's expertise is helping us bring this new experience quickly to our customers, giving them yet another reason to enjoy a great time, and it will be an attractive offer for new customers. This is the first of a number of innovative and exciting additions that will be coming to Tenpin over the next few months."
Thistleton added: "As private room karaoke continues to proliferate, Lucky Voice is experiencing increased demand to license its karaoke solution to third parties across the hospitality and entertainment spectrum.
"Sharing our knowledge is a natural next step for the brand, and we welcome the opportunity to discuss both co-branded and white-label partnerships with organisations that want to deliver a premium karaoke solution to their customers."
