LONDON (Brand Republic) - Former Lowe Lintas & Partners executive Peter Hempel has been appointed by Gap, the US’s largest retailer, as head of marketing for its Gap brand.
Hempel joins Amy Schoening, who was appointed to the newly created position of Gap chief marketing officer in February, and will report to Gap president Ken Pilot. He will head up all global marketing for the brand, including Gap, GapKids, BabyGap and GapBody.
Hempel worked for Interpublic Group of Companies’ Lowe Lintas for 14 years, most recently as executive vice-president and general manager of account management.
