Lowe Broadway ads promote low cost of Vauxhall's fast cars

Vauxhall has produced what it says is its first fully integrated tactical campaign to boost sales of sporty models.

Lowe Broadway, which handles all the carmaker's dealership business, has produced the campaign, which embraces television, radio, posters, press, online activity and direct marketing.

The advertising promotes Vauxhall's 0 per cent finance offer over three years on models including the VX220, Zafira Turbo, Astra Coupe and Astra Convertible. The ads share a common creative device - a zip fastener - and the line: "Pay zip interest. Zip down to Vauxhall."

The advertising is being spearheaded by a commercial directed by Graham Rose for Rose Hackney Barber. The creative work was developed by a team led by Jacqui Rainfray, the creative director at Lowe Broadway.

Vauxhall's tactical communications manager, Steve Markwell, said: "I'm really pleased with this piece of work. It shows our cars at their best and informs consumers that a sporty Vauxhall is more easily within their reach."

Fiona Pickett, the account director for Vauxhall at the agency, said: "We have maintained our reputation for quality, fast-turnaround retail advertising of the highest level across all elements of the campaign."
