L'Oreal signs Cheryl Cole as face for new UK range

LONDON - Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole is partnering with L'Oreal Paris to front the launch of a range of beauty products specifically targeting the UK market.

Cole is first British woman to be signed by L'Oreal since Kate Moss in 1998.

The new range marks the first time the cosmetics company has launched a standalone-brand targeting the UK market.

Cole said ‘I have always loved the brand and have always wanted to say the iconic phrase 'because you're worth it' so to be given that opportunity is absolutely amazing.'

The new range, Elvive Full Restore 5, will launch in the UK next month.

The singer and X-Factor judge has been signed on a one-year deal and will feature in a major TV ad campaign in October.
