Lord Young, who is currently conducting an extensive review of health and safety policy on behalf of the Conservative Party, will talk about his ideas for future regulation and guidance in the health and safety.
The show will also feature seminars on a range of health and safety topics, including making business sense, off-shore drilling safety and safer working environments. These will be hosted by speakers ranging from Glastonbury head of health and safety Tim Roberts to Nestlé UK head of health, safety and environment Inder Poonajii.
Adrian Newton, UBM Live portfolio director for safety and building management, said: "With a general election just around the corner, we're delighted that Lord Young has taken time out of his busy schedule to come to the IOSH 10 conference to deliver what will surely be a fascinating speech. We're all looking forward to hearing his views on health and safety culture, and delegates will undoubtedly benefit from this keynote address."
