Plans are afoot to install what will be London's biggest-ever outdoor ice rink on Oxford Street this winter.
The mammoth 1,225sqm rink will take over blank canvas event space Parklife Oxford Street opposite Selfridges from 29 October through to 10 January, dwarfing other festive skating rinks in the capital.
It will accommodate up to 400 skaters an hour and will feature a children's training area and Ice Café.
The agency behind the space, Progressive Events, is also planning a celebration evening for the Christmas lights switch-on on 3 November.
