Pitch: This 173-bedroom Fitzrovia hotel opened in September on the site of the former Berners Hotel.
Spaces to hire: Located on the first floor are two studios, the smaller seating up to 12 guests, the larger accommodating up to 80. Above the hotel restaurant, Berners Tavern is a private dining room with space for 14 guests, featuring menus from chef Jason Atherton. The basement bar - the hotel's version of Studio 54 - can hold up to 220 guests.

The pitch: This five-star hotel, housed in the Grade II-listed former headquarters of the Pearl Assurance Company, opened in October.
Spaces to hire: There are 11 event spaces - the star of the show being the 555-capacity Grand Ballroom with its dramatic staircases that lead to a balcony overlooking the foyer. Two private dining rooms - one with a show kitchen - three boardrooms and a series of interconnecting salons complete the offering.
