Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street
The pitch: The rooftop venue at 20 Fenchurch Street, which is also known as the Walkie Talkie, will open later this summer.
Spaces to hire: The space will occupy the top three floors of the building and will be operated by event caterer Rhubarb. It features a landscaped garden, bar, viewing area, two restaurants and cafe with a total capacity for 540 people, including staff. Individual room capacities vary from 20 in the boardroom to 250 on Level 35.
Don't miss: The garden, which has been installed by the same team behind the Olympic Park's green spaces, with help from Kew Gardens' experts.

Banking Hall
The pitch: A grand Art Deco building in the centre of London's financial district overlooking the Bank of England. It opens this month (April).
Spaces to hire: The venue is comprised of two spaces with towering marble columns and original Art Deco decor. The main hall seats 300 guests for a dinner or 500 for a reception, while the mezzanine can seat up to 200 guests for a dinner or 300 for a reception. Due to the nature of the space, the venue is available only on an exclusive-use basis.
Don't miss: The Grade II-listed building is the former London headquarters of Lloyds Bank and still features remnants of its past life.
