Last year the festival had one sponsor, Zydot, a product for cleansing urine prior to drugs tests. Zydot paid £1500 to put stickers on all toilet doors at the festival.
Organiser Johnny Roads said the festival is an opportunity for brands to reach not just the 40,000 people expected to attend, but the millions who will see it on the TV news and in newspapers. "It is a less contentious issue now. Being associated with cannabis is not going to put anyone off buying a brand."
