Loaded raids News of the World for deputy editor

LONDON - Loaded editor Scott Manson is looking to inject new life into the lad's magazine with the news that he has poached News of the World's Martin Daubney to take up the post of deputy editor on the magazine.

Daubney is currently editor of Sin Bin, the Sunday newspaper's risque sports pages. He is also a former features editor of Loaded rival FHM and an former editor of Page3.com.

"Men's magazines are in my blood and I can't wait to get back to the coal face. It's an honour to work for Loaded and I've got lots of fresh ideas to help keep the mag at the top of its game," Daubney said.

Manson said Daubney's journalistic background would fit perfectly with the magazine's mission to "publish the very best men's magazine there is out there".

"He really understands what young men want now and will be a great addition to my team," Manson said.
