Living TV ad deemed too sexy by London Underground

LONDON - An ad depicting 12 scantily clad women sprawled on the floor has been banned by tube bosses because they claim it contains 'overtly sexual imagery'.

The ad for Living TV is promoting the forthcoming series of 'Britain's Next Top Model'.

The channel has been forced into producing a less risque, toned down version of the ad to appease transport officials.

The original image featured the 12 contestants in the show, who are competing to be Britain's next top model, sprawling suggestively, wearing Burlesque-style clothing -- including Basques, stockings and suspenders.

A London Underground official raised concerns that the ad could potentially offend tube travellers. In a statement, the organisation, said: "This artwork contains overtly sexual imagery...this level of indecency is not related to the product and therefore cannot be approved."

Britain's Next Top Model airs from July 2 and is being hosted by George Clooney's one-time girlfriend, Lisa Snowdon.
