IPC Media has added the Donor Magazine list to its portfolio of consumer interest files. The database, which is managed by Lloyd James List and Media Management, holds details on 80,999 subscribers to IPC magazines, which cover various interests including home decoration, country pursuits, marine and sport. The majority of subscriptions have been bought as Christmas presents for friends or family. Seventy-three per cent are female, and their interests include DIY, cooking, puzzles and eating out.

The Photography File, which consists of magazine subscribers, mail-order buyers, event visitors and competition entrants from IPC Media's photography portfolio, has been added to IPC Media's consumer interest file. The list is managed by Lloyd James List and Media Management and is predominantly males, aged about 27, who own at least one camera and are passionate about photography both in an amateur or professional capacity.

Avongate has introduced the Magnetic Health Buyers list to the market, which holds the names of 34,445 individuals who have purchased a range of magnetic products designed to alleviate adverse health conditions and offer protection from electromagnetic radiation.
These include magnetic bracelets and necklaces, shoe insoles, pillow beds, health and beauty accessories and radiation shields. The list is 65 per cent women, with an average order value of 拢38.75. Names have been recruited via direct mail and word of mouth.

Individuals are mainly married with children and are regular buyers of FMCG brands. The majority are women aged between 25 and 50 and over half have an income in excess of 拢30,000 a year. They are also regular credit card users. Their interests include gardening, the arts, current affairs, foreign travel, home shopping, keeping fit and gourmet cooking.

The file is predominantly made up of females aged between 30 and 45 who take an interest in shopping by catalogue, keeping fit, eating out, fashion, collectibles, beauty products and watching TV. The file has been MPS screened and is mail-order responsive.

Consumer credit reference agency Callcredit has released two new lists to help businesses target home-movers and young people who are approaching adulthood. The New Movers list provides access to 3.5 million individuals and households that are responsive to home improvement and financial services offers. The new Attainers list holds details on 300,000 individuals who have recently had, or will shortly be celebrating, their 18th birthday.
Both lists have been built via the latest Electoral Roll data and have been pre-screened to remove people with County Court Judgements or bankruptcies.

Over half the database are females, mostly aged over 55. Sixty per cent are repeat buyers. Top mail-order purchases include books, fashion, gardening, music, videos and wine and they are keen donors to charities including medical, animal, elderly, blind, children and environmental.
Their hobbies cover fitness, competitions and antiques.

Customers are recruited through popular press, magazines, third-party inserts and list activity. The list is mainly females who are multibuyers, aged between 25 and 55, married with at least one child, and are homeowners.
Their interests include books, needlework, DIY, gardening, betting, keeping fit, and UK holidays.
