Nuttall is known for pushing boundaries. This, with her digital experience (her CV also boasts stints at ASOS, Myspace and Channel 4), is why the BBC lured her back with one of the biggest briefs in British broadcasting: she is responsible for major brands including Doctor Who and Strictly. She also oversees iPlayer’s growth strategy, led BBC One’s London 2012 Olympics marketing and manages the key Christmas campaigns. It’s clearly going well: 2012 was the channel’s best-performing year since 2008.
